SurendraSarnikar, Ph.D Faculty Profile

Surendra Sarnikar is a Professor in the Department of Management and Coordinator for the Master of Science in Business Analytics Program at the College of Business and Economics, California State University East Bay. He holds a PhD in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona. His research interests include business analytics, machine learning and healthcare analytics. He has published over 60 articles in Information Systems journals and conferences, and has won best paper awards for his work in analytics and healthcare information systems at the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences and the International Conference on Information Systems. He is also a recipient of the Dean Jay Tontz Innovative Teaching Award.
